Our favorite time of year
Fall is a wonderful time of year. Our students are back in the classrooms, the change of seasons brings us beautiful colors on the trees, and it's time for our annual jog-a-thon fundraiser! Our students will spend the morning at Capitol Park near the school and run, jog or walk as many laps as they can. Parents and teachers will cheer them on as they go and it's a fun time for all. Student are asking family and friends to sponsor them in either a per lap pledge or a flat donation.
Why support St. Joseph School?
St. Joseph School has been a leader in Catholic education in the Willamette Valley for 160 years. We strive for academic excellence, with the foundation of faith, knowledge and virtue. We want our students to become saints! Living out virtue and getting to know the person of Jesus Christ is at the center of what we do at St. Joseph School. This year we have increased Mass to 3 days a week for our 3rd through 8th grade students and continue weekly morning prayer and Rosary.
While the church is still in recovery from the fire, the school is thriving and the Holy Spirit has set a new fire (a good one!) on this place. We hope you will join us in continuing our mission to help the students know, love and serve God in this life, so they can be happy with him in the next.
Thank you for your support!
